Before shot of our patio demo and new construction job.
So we take this job in OC building a new patio in the backyard. At first glance it looks like a pretty straight forward job, just tear out the existing roof structure and remove the concrete surface below.

After shot of roof demo on construction job in OC
First off, we find out the structure was so riddled with termites that we really couldn’t get up on the roof to work, so we had to figure out a way to pull the structure down. Without burning too many brain cells we figured that out and took care of it. But here’s where this construction job gets interesting. When we go to remove the concrete slabs on the ground, we find out (the previous home owner did it himself) that the slabs are 3 feet thick. Holy moly, what was this guy thinking, this was like the concrete specs for a bomb shelter. Obviously this would take a team of guys weeks to remove this with sledge hammers and throw the whole job off schedule, can’t have that.
So we have now arranged to bring in a Bob cat with the right equipment to break up this massive concrete patio floor and them remove it to a truck in the street. Stay tuned, you got to see it when we start hammering away with the Bob Cat on this concrete, it’s massive (what was this guy thinking).
Talk to you all soon, the team at Aim Higher Construction

Hello, I'm Eric Anderson, digital brand guru and dog fanatic. I'm always interested in new internet projects and when I met this guy who made orthopedic dog beds and wanted a website, well being the dog enthusiasts that I am, I buried myself in the project. To make a long story short, I'm now a partner in the project (love it) and our site is live.
Just google orthopawdic and you'll find us. We're a new dog bed company so if you can take a look at the site, our dog bed product and let us know what you think. We need feedback to keep improving our service and product.
If you're an animal person, I think you'll like what we're doing.
