So we’re remodeling this mid century home in the hills of Brentwood and notice that the client has this great outdoor space right off the living room…that the roof continues right over. We told them that it would be so easy to just push out the glass wall of sliding doors on that wall to the roof line and bam, they would have a glass inclosed dining area.
They were intrigued so we had a designer (free of charge to them) do a rendering of what it would look like and how it would transform their living space. One look at it and they were on board. The space was transformed with glass corners at each end and a wall of glass sliders looking out to the patio. This simple addition was so natural that the clients now can’t imagine the house without it.
This is just one sample of how we think, in other words we never stop. Thinking that is of better ways of doing the job. The clients hadn’t thought of this remodel idea, but when we saw it was an opportunity to increase space and drama to the remodel, we brought it to the clients attention. Being already in the remodel process and having brought this up when we did, we were able to do this additional order change at a reasonable cost (compared to starting the job from scratch).
This was small little change that made a big difference to the home remodel. Hope you like it, until next time…The Crew at Aim Higher Construction.
Can I ask what 3d visualization program you used for the render? I’d love to see the design images!
