The Sky Tub below

When we started the project for the sky shower, we knew we would have to do something pretty dramatic below the skylight to take the idea full circle. So with the filtered natural light coming in from the sky above, the designer (Heidi Moody) wanted to created yet another natural feeling below.

So the bottom of the tub was done in river rock, to give the feeling of nature and the out doors as well. Besides giving the tub an organic natural look, the smooth rocks also feel great to sit on or stand on. You kind of get a mini massage from the rocks every time you enter the bathroom area.

This is one of the simplest, yet most dramatic bathrooms we’re ever created. Keeping the materials clean, simple and as organic as possible. As you lie in the soothing water of the extra deep sky tub, on the smooth river rock, your head gently resting on a water proof pillow, your eyes follow  the walls of the tub, seamlessly reaching up to the sky unobstructed, framing the sky much like a painting. Except this time the painting is real.

We had a lot of fun on this bathroom remodel, hope you had fun reading about it. More to come soon.

About Eric Anderson LA

Hello, I'm Eric Anderson, digital brand guru and dog fanatic. I'm always interested in new internet projects and when I met this guy who made orthopedic dog beds and wanted a website, well being the dog enthusiasts that I am, I buried myself in the project. To make a long story short, I'm now a partner in the project (love it) and our site is live. Just google orthopawdic and you'll find us. We're a new dog bed company so if you can take a look at the site, our dog bed product and let us know what you think. We need feedback to keep improving our service and product. If you're an animal person, I think you'll like what we're doing. Eric Anderson
